Get ready to connect with each other and create memories on this weekend adventure that will last for years to come. Imagine you and your daughter going for a horse ride, jumping off the Leap of Faith, ziplining, playing a game in the Canteen, laughing on a boat ride, or going for a walk on a wooded trail letting your daughter know how much she is loved by you and her Savior.

This retreat is for daughters in grades K-12.

Retreat Theme: Let’s Be Weird

How to Be a Christian in Today’s Non-Christian World

Everywhere we turn, God is being forced from the picture—in our schools, modern media, and even in the hearts of family homes. When non-biblical views are considered “normal,” how are Christian moms and daughters supposed to swim against the current? And what aspects of today’s culture are influencing our lives in ways we don’t even realize?

Through a weekend of fun and interactive sessions, author and Jesus-loving mom Becky Kopitzke and her daughter Clara will equip and encourage us to be Christ’s disciples in today’s messy world—by being different for all the right reasons.

Retreat Speakers: Becky and Clara Kopitzke

Becky and Clara Kopitzke are a mom-daughter duo who love Jesus and want others to know Him. Becky is the author of four books including The SuperMom Myth and Love Because: How to Change the World One Blessing at a Time. Clara is a junior in high school and volunteers regularly as a worship musician and church childcare leader. She’s also a summer camp counselor at SBR.

Together, Becky and Clara understand firsthand the stress and confusing messages that moms and daughters face in our culture every day. They’re passionate about encouraging women and girls to know their value in Christ, so they can shine a light through today’s darkness that cannot be ignored.

The Kopitzkes live in Appleton, Wisconsin, with Chad (husband/dad), Noelle (younger sister), two fluffy dogs and Noelle’s bedroom full of reptiles. The Kopitzke family attends Appleton Alliance Church where the girls have grown up knowing Jesus is real, and He loves them beyond compare.
